WHAT DO YOU WANT TO CHANGE IN YOUR LIFE?

CHANGE

“Be the change that you wish to see in the world.”
― Mahatma Gandhi

Change can be intimidating but sometimes, there comes a point in time where life demands the change. You start to experience a feeling of stagnation and the need for change slowly erodes your present life.

You could be feeling stuck in a  job or a relationship that needs a fresh outlook or the city where you live and you have been somewhat resistance to  the experience of change. You may feel also that you are unable to steer your circumstances in the direction you want to go.

How can you implement changes in your life without feeling totally out of control?

1.     Get very clear and specific within yourself  in what you would like to change.

2.     When you are clear with what you want then write it in a piece of paper. Read it to yourself and make sure it resonates with you.

3.     Declare this to the Universe. When you have genuine clarity instead of a vague like or dislike, then the Universe too will respond with the same precision.

4.     Make sure you are reading your declaration every morning when you wake up and every night before you go to bed. Also be observant about the changes taking place, making sure to take responsibility for your intentions.

And watch  the tides change beautifully in your life. Please don’t get too frustrated when something does not happen immediately for “Divine timing”  play a huge part in your life. Continue this honest and deep conversation with the Universe and watch the magic happen in your life.

“Adwiti was able to bring me to such clarity. Together we were able to set very specific goals. Through Adwiti's life coaching and hypnotherapy I started seeing positive changes immediately. HEALTHY EATING ......

Greetings Healthy Mothers,

I have a number of weight loss clients and although I am not a nutritionist I have read enough and also have enough sense to suggest a few things for a healthy life.

When I was growing up in Darjeeling, India I cannot remember eating much processed food at all. Everything was cooked fresh and almost all ingredients were minimally processed or not at all. Almost every health site is propounding this now.

The door bell would ring at the break of dawn, the milk man who had a personal relationship with all the houses that he delivered milk to , would be standing with a huge smile on his face. But, I also often heard him discuss about his various cows, his health issues, his financial concerns  to my aunt , who was an expert advice giver! Always a good way to start the day!  The day could not, would not start without fresh milk, because the famous Darjeeling tea was  then drunk with a touch of milk.

Photo by Lhadup Moktan , on his visit to Darjeeling 2009

Fresh green vegetables were brought to the door step by vegetable vendors from the farm or we would get it from the daily farmers market .

The winding roads downhill from Darjeeling to Kalimpong had made me a little nauseated, traveling from the high mountainous and cool region to warmer Kalimpong made me feel slightly uncomfortable.

My aunt was taking me to visit her family. First stop was her younger sister's place, we landed unannounced and were greeted by big smiles, expressive words of how happy they were to see us and then straight on to " what would you like to eat?"

I was starving from the two and a half hour journey down rocky roads and unfamiliar surroundings and because I was perhaps only ten then, I was feeling ever so slightly disoriented!

Then she tucked the loose top part of her sari around her waist, rolled it up a little so  it was more ankle length and opened her back door. The back yard was a field of fresh green vegetables, glistening in the afternoon Kalimpong sun! Besides the mustard greens, there was a corn field , a tomato patch and lots of chili peppers were abundantly growing in her garden.

She squatted down and picked fresh mustard greens from the garden and brought it in. She cooked what turned out to be one of  the most memorable meals of my life, perhaps because the vibrant colors excited my senses,  or the fresh taste that embraced my childhood days,  or that I was extremely hungry therefore vulnerable to a defining moment, but along with the fermented soy beans  that has become so synonymous to “good eats” and rice from the paddy fields, I can safely say I was never the same after that fresh home cooked meal.

That freshness has never left my taste buds nor  the warmth I feel in my heart when I remember the overflowing happiness of a relative eager to see us and wanting to honor and love us from her pure heart.

Cooking for each other is such an act of love and whenever I asked my aunt how the food was so delicious, she always said " secret ingredient is LOVE!"

I pretty much stayed close to the way we ate at home, eliminating most processed food, and it might be slightly more work, but the taste and the enjoyment of consuming fresh food makes you feel energetic and lively.

SIX EASY STEPS TO RELEASE NEGATIVITY

Greetings Beloved beings of light,

Namaste~
Namaste is an Indian Greeting and it means “ I  respect and honor the divinity within you which is also within me”.

Release is the theme of the day today.

The purity within you, the spirit that resides quietly aware of unlimited potential and infinite connection with the Blissful greatness of God/Universe is waiting for you to get better acquainted with you.

But in order for you to feel the peace the bliss and the infinite energy of the Universe you have to release the negative beliefs that surrounds your being.

SIX steps to release negativity:

1.     Foremost, you have to be aware of what you are negative about. So today become conscious of your thoughts. Write down your thoughts if necessary. You have 60,000 or more thoughts per day and surveys show that most of it is what you have been thinking the day before. Thoughts are key!

2.     Out of these thoughts what is weighing you down? What is making you feel disempowered and blocked. Which thought is preventing you from moving forward or connecting with the Divine. You will know when you connect with the source the path is light and beautiful coincidences take place, miracles happen and the sense of joy in your life is heightened.

3.     Tackle one major negative event or thought or incident or even a health problem at a time.

4.     Write this major obstacle down in a piece of paper. Now, close your eyes, drop into your silence, connect with the Universe/God and request that these negative emotions to be turned into light.

5.     Now, visualize  your problem alleviated. Visualize how your life would look like when the problem is solved, or the negative emotion is released from your life. And know that it is possible.

6.     Burn the piece of paper or shred it as a symbolic gesture to release that for good.

Hope all this helped you. Leave me a comment BELOW – I can’t wait to hear what you have to say and I do love being of some help in your journey.

LET US HAVE SOME FUN!

HAVE FUN…

The sun flooded the morning and woke me up way before I wanted to, groggy and dragging myself out of the bed I asked my husband if there was any rain in the radar. “Nope...not for a long while” he said.

After doing my gratitude journal, I sauntered into the kitchen to make some coffee, hoping my daughter was still asleep so I could get some work done before she woke up.
“Hi mom, snuggle in the sofa?” I was greeted by her ever effervescent energy and enthusiasm to corner me into snuggling with her any time of the day or night. I do love that, but there was a lot of work that had to be completed and my mind was scattered into many directions.

“Mama...” she said “c’mon...let us snuggle and then play!”

I reluctantly agreed to her demands, all the while hoping that she would find an exciting book that would occupy her for at least an hour. She didn’t! I was the book! Being an only child she often sees me as her playmate and I try and am there for her as much as possible.

My daughter had by now tackled me to the ground and was starting to wrestle with me, when my enthusiasm was quickly waning as my mind was  moving in several directions. She stopped and in between giggles said “aren’t you having fun Mama? C’mon mama has some fun….fun…” And she created a Broadway type of song for me ( she is going to  theater camp right now).

It was a crucial reminder for me! Often when our mind is teeming with things to do and living for the next moment, FUN seems to be locked out of our lives. So I just decided to open that locked door and just have fun with my six year old.

Having fun is such an important lesson and looking at kids, they naturally do things that they love to do and love doing them. I asked my daughter to clean up the room, she pretended she was Cinderella and when most of her room was picked up, she was the princess!

Having fun also is a huge stress reliever. Having fun requires imagination and a good dose of “letting go”. If you are still wondering how to do that, then look at a child at play-gay abandon!
I am having fun writing this piece!

So, now the unpredicted rain clouds are filling the sky… I was even blessed with a slight sprinkle from the rain Goddess this morning. I am happy!

Thank you for reading my blogs and opening yourself to your true potential. While doing that lets have some FUN! Call me or e-mail me for sessions to open up to your true potential.

MAKE YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE..

Greetings bright beings,

The sunshine flood is on me now, it is everywhere! In the streets, in my car, outside my house, through the windows, across the ocean..I am sun sodden!  But ahhh that breeze from the ocean takes me to the mountains and instantly transports me to a cooler state of mind.

So, now I am huddled in my office, with the blinds closed and waiting for some of my Skype sessions  to begin.  I  really look forward  to all my sessions as I enjoy working with people who dream and make things happen.

A few tips  to make your dreams come true:

1.     Visualize your success.

2.     Create a plan and Focus on it. Use a mental magnifying glass to enlarge your plan.

3.     Do something for your dream or your goal every day, it will build up to the final vision before you know it.

Enjoy summer and take care of your dreams for they are fragile and they can break easily!

SURFS UP.......

Greetings beautiful beings,

It was a chilled out Father’s day for us yesterday, hope yours was equally good, which I suspect it was.

Erick is a surfer and he waits eagerly for the “surfs up” signal every day. With the law of attraction at play, the waves were up yesterday, so at the break of dawn, away he went to be greeted by the glistening arms of the ocean.

We waited for him with loves, kisses and some presents.

My husband’s complete passion for the surf is because he says he can become one with nature, with the ocean and when he comes back from the experience he is always a little transformed , a little more expansive and little more meditative and flowing.

The way he describes surfing is the way I would describe my meditations. Everything else vanishes except the very moment, that swirl of energy or wave that propels you forward.

He says “ when you hold on too much, you lose momentum and you crash .” Sound familiar?

“ Waiting for the right time is key in surfing..so you can ride the wave all the way.”

So patience is required for the right time, to pounce on the wave.

Today, I would like for you to think about what you have been waiting to happen, what is holding you back?

Have you jumped on the right wave yet? Are you too afraid to ride it? Or are you hoping the next one will be better?

Think carefully and feel the fears surrounding this issue, when you know what fears are stopping you from experiencing the flow, the success and the movement of the journey, you will be able to move forward with it after clearing the blocks.

As usual I am here to help you clear those mental blocks so you can live that life- enjoyable!

Today I wish you "surfs up" for your moving forward.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY....

Greetings Mothers, Fathers and all who are led to this blog,

Happy Father’s day!

Today I just want to write a short but a reflective note on Fathers and how important they are to us. This is my personal reflection…..

It is the strength of the Father that the child seeks,
The foundation that he creates that she builds on…
It is movement she becomes as she grows,
The interaction that she integrates within herself,
The kisses that expands her heart and the boundaries fade...
The music that soothes her aching heart...
The power that she feels within her soul….
And the ocean of love that she swims in..
Blessed is the daughter/son of a Father that nourishes from his Divine Mother.

HAPPY FATHER’s DAY beautiful Fathers!

Love  to all who are reading my blog :) Blessings ....
