IN ABUNDANCE...

Greetings abundant mothers, 

Today I am going to quickly touch on the topic of abundance, since that seems to be a big part  in every realm of our lives. Please also feel free to go to my website www.empowerthemother.com and sign up for a free abundance course " Release your limitations and become abundant". 

Abundance means a lot of things; but the true essence of the word, the sound and the feeling of it really means; at ease with yourself. Fundamentally being at ease with yourself is associated with self acceptance.

  
This means that you don’t have to prove to anyone, anything, except to yourself. When we HUMBLY look at life and know that we are neither beneath, nor above, no better, no worse than anyone else we are free to be who we are, the unique beings that we are. 

This is the basic principle of abundance. Know deeply, that we are not separate from the source.  The trouble starts when we think we are,which is what the EGO wants us to believe and does a good job convincing us. Thus the struggle starts and we are always in a state of constant battle with the world.

Conversely, the ego is  actually trying  to prove that we are worthy of love and abundance, but is going about the wrong way(go figure) !

  

Yes, the only way we can  experience the abundance of love, happiness, joy and wealth is by stepping out of the separation, the personal walls of limitation, lack, inadequacy and isolation we have created, and stepping into the unlimited all creation.

Accept and believe in the Great oneness of the Universe.

Ease comes with respecting the harmony of nature. Our natural strengths, talents and abilities can be put to work and expressed implicitly when we have nothing to prove to anyone but to genuinely give and receive as a cycle of life.

Abundance appears with a spirit of Gratitude.

 
I hope you are writing your gratitude list everyday when you wake up, or feeling the emotion of truly giving thanks to all that you have and all that you are.  

Abundance comes with honoring your divine voice of love that guides you with a non judgmental approach and unconditional love.

ASK QUESTIONS...

Greetings Mothers and everyone else reading my blogs,

Do you remember when you were little and the world was such a place of adventure and awe?You asked many questions and I am sure a lot of it remained unanswered or just got buried under other queries and then  got whisked away by life itself.

About 4 years ago when my daughter was two, we were driving past a pasture and there were some beautiful horses feeding, my daughter gazed at the horses and asked me a question that totally took me by surprise, “ Mamma, why are horses born as horses, chicken born as chicken and humans born as humans?” The answer I would have given her would have been too complex, so I posed the question back to her “ Why don’t you ask God this question yourself darling?”

She  delved deep in thought for a little bit and then producing a mock booming voice she said “ God said , “I make...what I make.... what I make!””

That was well played God...I thought!

Well,today I have three very profound questions for you.
I want you to answer after you meditate on this during the course of the day, when you find a few moments to yourself: 

1.     WHO AM I? ( ask this several times) beyond your name, beyond your ego…

2.     WHERE DID I COME FROM?

3.      WHERE AM I GOING?

THE CLEANSE...

Greetings Wonderful mothers and all who read my blogs,

There were many thoughts coursing through many channels of my brain, as I was waiting for my daughter in the car line to pick her up after school! I was a little early and I was checking my emails and phone messages. 

Different voices  reminded me of all the work that had to be done, or if it had been done in a timely fashion. My website needed attention, my little dog Momo needed a bath..what were we fixing for dinner…. hoped that there was the salad in the fridge ( sent a text to my husband to ask him to check), did I remember to order the video of my daughter’s recital…when all of a sudden a flash of lightening illuminated the area and the dark nimbus clouds broke loose and down came the rain….

                           

Now, if you have been reading my blogs, I guess you already know that I love the rain.

The rhythm, the cleansing, the release all happens in one synchronized event..it is cathartic!

The rain washed away all of my thoughts, cleansed it and brought me back to this powerful moment –NOW!

We all need a little rain sometimes, to connect to the power of cleansing, we all need that once in a while, to wash away our concerns and as it rejuvenates us and gives our souls a dynamic bath!

                       

Rain is metaphorical, it has the ability to purify and cleanse our entire being, it also has the ability help us rest and rejuvenate. Rain is also an act of creativity, resourcefulness and restoration. Rain helps with the cooling down process in the earth. Rain provides water, something that we just cannot live without.

Ask yourselves today:

1.   What do I need to cleanse from my life today? What do I need to wash away?

2.   Where do I need to cool down, where am I doing too much that I need to rest?

3.   What significant thing, feeling, emotion, purpose are you needing in your life right now that you just cannot do without but have been really putting it off, by placing other things, people before you.

Let me know, more so let yourself know this truth. Dig deep..and yes Cleanse. I am here for you as always.

WORDS OF LOVE..

Greeting Mothers and all the wonderful people who read my blog,

I know a lot of you have been enjoying my blogs so I want to make a request. Memorial day weekend has been relaxing, besides going to the beach, I actually did a lot of feng shui around my house, just letting go of old stuff and creating room for new. While we cleaned and sorted,my daughter watched the “Avatar” series once again and although I am not an advocate for mindless TV watching, this series is actually quite thought provoking and has tapped into some profound Eastern philosophy, which I hope she will inculcate in her magnificent childhood and thereafter.

We were out on the beach yesterday, the mesmerizing turquoise water completely entranced my spirit, the sugar white sand felt like velvet on my feet. My husband put up the umbrellas and we started building sand castles and played in the water, we were also entertained by a pod of dolphins that swam pretty close to the shore. I am not sure what it is but every time I see  that sight I feel like my spirit uplift to a very peaceful place!

                        

But, I was jerked out of my wondrous stupor by an acute, angry interaction between a husband and wife with a family stationed next to us. They had three kids and the husband was playing with one of them in the water, I happened to be getting out to dry off. He asked me to get his wife for him as she could not hear him calling her because of the sound of the waves.

Drying my hair and enjoying the sultry air, I relayed the message to his wife, who turned visibly red with anger! Then with her hands on her hips, she started shouting at the top of her lungs, turning toward the husband playing in the water with the kid “What…what..what..what the hell do you want from me?”

I retreated to my spot, sent her some light and witnessed that interaction The children started wincing and unpleasantness spilled into the atmosphere within them.

Now, I am not trying the “holier than thou” stance at all here. I am just reminded of the times that I may not have spoken so sweetly to my husband  and of course when looking from the outside, I cannot know what the dynamics of  that family were and what triggers they had, I was only just given a glimpse .

But I thought it would be a great reminder to my readers to speak sweetly to your loved ones!  The daily grind can make us pressurized and we become unaware of our treatment towards the ones closest to us, as we know they will forgive us. But imagine what the relationship goes through, it is a matter of choice as to how you want to construct this connection through the years. Do you want to build it with words of love in your heart and in your mouth or with words of frustration and anger and let it build walls between the relationship? 

The family relationship has to endure a lot so weave it with love and let the love not just be in your hearts, but in words and in action.

No matter how angry or activated you might be, always be aware of the fruit of the interaction. Becoming conscious of the end result of a heated communication has helped me grow from "attack mode" to “ we are in this together”! 

Until tomorrow mothers and everyone reading this blog all over the world, speak words of love to your loved ones and to yourself. Your heart will feel infinitely better.

THE DARE ....

Greetings beautiful Mothers,

Today I am jumpstarting with one of my favorite quotes..

“ That the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way. Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now.”

I have revealed to you about commitments more times than I can remember. 

Today  I dare you to do three things this week:

1.   Dare to do something that you have always wanted to do and never could.

2.   The only way to overcome fear is ACTION! Write down one fear that is holding you back from making that jump to the other side of who you really long to be.

3.   Thirdly “Nike” it! JUST DO IT! Mothers, even if it is a small act, make it a symbol of your infinite possibilities waiting for you to make it a reality. It is all there, what you desire, you have to start by taking that baby step towards it.
