WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE DAY 8-COMMUNICATE


Dearest  beautiful people,

                           Frühling und die Welt steht Kopf

Day 8 and going strong..today I simply want  you to connect with your body. I invite you to contemplate deeply on your body and the way you connect with her, consider how you talk to the body.

Do you look at the mirror and scold her? Do you say demeaning things to her? Do you degrade her? Would you talk to your best friend like that?

Consider where this is coming from and what purpose it has served you. Feel the delicate relationship you have with her. ( I am using her because I feel comfortable with her J ) This one small aspect of your  interaction is an essential part of the system that harnesses the energy of the spoken word, digs deep into the psyche of  the communication and then brings into the world the results.


When we were little our “elders” would caution our tongues..” Be careful what you say…God might be passing by and grant that wish!” So we were encouraged to speak kindly ( at least when we were around them J ). Now I understand the logic behind that!

When you say something, the brain computes it and then puts everything into motion to deliver that thought to you in results, actions or experience.

So ..when looking at the mirror if you are saying unflattering things to your body, the body will react right back at you!  Everything is energy!

Today, I invite you to get naked and talk to your body with gentle loving kindness….this will transform the elements of the environment into nourishing actions and experiences.  Tell your body “ you are beautiful..I love you…thank you for being with me…”

Do this everyday before or after your shower and observe your feelings and your experiences change.

Here is to loving your body and talking to her like you are in love with her, not in a narcissistic way but in a divine, loving way!

WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE DAY 7- DREAM..DREAM..DREAM..


Greetings my lovelies, 

Dream..Dream...Dream.....

When you clearly visualize a goal, all your attention is focused on achieving that goal. Have you noticed, in the past, if you  wanted ice cream, if you craved ice cream, then you would find a way to get it, come hail or high water!

The weight loss works the same way except that you have to find a passion, an obsession, that pleasure in your life and replicate it. There is that part of you that is helping you become determined and resolute about getting what you want.

I had a smoking client last week and when we uncovered her hidden desire, there was a part of her that was determined not to let her quit smoking. So we asked the same part to help her quit it.

We can work the same part in the weight loss as well.

Between will power and imagination, the imagination usually wins. So it is important to be gentle with yourself….take a few moments to visualize your beautiful self in your mind's mirror  a slimmer, healthier you! When you have a clear picture of yourself in your mind, the mind is so powerful that it will do everything in its power to deliver that to you. 

When you think of yourself,you body, what do you see?............Hummm..interesting huh?

Now if you are seeing an image of yourself that you are not quite pleased with ( which from my experience most people don't see themselves, as quite  the way they want to actually look), then change it to the one that you like and see how your whole physiology changes. When your mind power is occupied with  a certain image,  then that image will draw you to success and fulfillment. 

Today..keep dreaming..dreaming..dreaming and let your dreams seductively pull you towards your success!

WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE DAY 6- WHY ARE YOU EATING WHEN NOT HUNGRY?



Greetings my lovely, divine ones, 

Today let us quickly examine what is making you eat even when you are not hungry?

It takes 21 days to form a habit and 40 days to reach all levels of your being.

Eating and Exercising is simply a habit formation, albeit a habit you have formed since you were a  wee child.

This is one of the privileges that my clients get to uncover when they do the weight loss program. The logic, the conscious mind knows how to lose weight. Eat less, exercise more, don’t drink sodas or too much alcohol ( a glass of red wine is okay, according to studies)..simple right? Well why don’t we do it? It is because all the software, the programs were installed in your subconscious when you were a little. This does not just apply to weight by the way.

One client found out that she was eating to pacify herself, because when she was a kid, whenever she would cry she was handed a cookie, a sucker etc. So when she co-related that, she was able to identify her behavior and then release it. She lost 15 pounds after that!

I invite you to think of what behavior is governing your eating habits.

Jot down when you are eating in excess, when you are reaching out for that sweet treat or when are you eating involuntarily and then examine your pattern. With awareness comes change.

Today become aware of your eating habits and make a conscious choice with your hunger.
Enjoy the day and silence your hunger with 5 minute meditations or deep breathing and visualizing the healthy you.

WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE -DAY5 (LOVE YOUR BODY)



Greetings beautiful beings who are reading my blogs and   participating on the weight loss challenge,

DAY 5! LOVE YOUR BODY!

I want to share with you that I received a Face book message from one of the wonderful people taking the challenge and she has already lost 3 pounds! I applaud her efforts and her journey to success! You can do it! Nothing makes me happier than to see success through any of my programs. I want to thank her for sending me that message.

Commitment and following through with it, always bring results!  You cannot get results by just wishing and hoping. If you want something, imagine it first but don’t just stay there in that world, get up and get it! ACTION!

So now, according to this plan, you have changed your eating habits, you have started to exercise…..I know you can achieve your goals through consistent effort and a very firm belief that you can do this!

Persistence and perseverance, will not only bring results, it will actually present you with great rewards.

Today’s exercise is a very effective and a valuable one, please do this every day!

I invite you to become aware of each part of your body. Now I want you to send every part of your body gratitude and appreciation. They have been with you since the time you were born. Each part of your body is a part of you.
Become aware of how you have viewed your body before and how your body has reacted…now gently send light and positive energy to your body.Believe me , she/he feels it!  You can take it a step further by asking all parts of you to corporate with you and help you become healthy, sexy and slim. Do this every day and watch the change happening.

Remember it took you so long to put on weight, be patient with yourself and your body. Keep moving and don’t give up!

WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE- DAY 4


Hello my lovelies,


Day 4 and how goes?

 Motivation gets you activated but what keeps you going? How many of you are fired up and want to get that great body, fit into the jeans and yes zip your skinny jeans without lying down!

If whatever you are doing so far has not been working, then today you need to change that  behavior and start doing something different.

Here goes for DAY4…..

1.   After writing down the amount of weight you want to lose, break it down to a monthly goal and then to a weekly goal. Does that feel and and look achievable to you?

                                                        Thumbs Up

2.   After that write down in your journal 10 reasons why you want to lose weight. This is an important step, because this is the juice of your purpose.

3.   Now, I invite you to write a vision statement . In this vision statement use power words like empower, passion, achieve, success, love, healthy, abundant, exciting, enthusiastic, enhancement etc. to describe your vision of a successful, healthy, slim you. Make it a bold, powerful and exciting statement about what you see yourself achieving. What do you see, when you envision a slimmer you? Write it all down. DO NO miss this step!

4.    Now transfer this to an index card and place it where you can see it first thing in the morning and last thing at night.

5.   Now read this statement  3 times with your heart, every morning as you wake up and every night  before you go to bed. Saturate your whole mind with positive feelings about your success and achievement of your desires. Dream about that awesome body throughout the day. Imagine what it feels like to be lighter, brighter, slimmer you! Imagination pulls you to action.

Enjoy your day, immerse yourself with wonderful thoughts of a healthy, happier you.

Remember eating all you want now will be rewarded with eating nothing you want in your later  years….you have a long life to lead, spread YOUR love of food!

WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE - DAY 3


DAY 3

 How are we doing?

1.     Now that you have your pantry cleaned and you are only consuming food that are good for your body, today I invite you to write down activities that you enjoy. I love , Stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, walking and running but it is so hot in summer, I enjoy my elliptical time. I really look forward to it, because I can listen to music or the radio and just clear my head. I also enjoy Zumba and just dancing with my daughter and my husband. The point is to stop sitting and start moving.

2.     After you make that list, start putting these chosen activities in your calendar for the whole week. It is important to put exercise as an appointment (with yourself). This way it is official and your mind will compute it as a signal to go ahead and check it off your list. Let those endorphins surge into your system, start feeling good! Your being deserves it!

3.     Think positive thoughts about your health and your body. When a negative thought saunters into your mind, accept it and then release it. It is impossible to be ONLY thinking positive, but you can definitely dissolve the negative thoughts by replacing it with a good one. For eg. YOU CAN DO THIS!

4.     Remember to log down food that you are eating and the times you are eating. When you log it down you will become surprisingly aware of how much you are eating and what you need to eliminate from your diet.

5.     In a plate, half should be filled with vegetables. ¼ th with protein and the other ¼ with healthy carbohydrate. You can go for unlimited helping of vegetables provided it is not cooked with too much oil.
